Band
Purpose and History
The Rough Rider Bands program consists of the marching band, concert band, jazz band, and the pep band. These groups exist to provide students the opportunity to perform in an instrumental music ensemble. The concert band and jazz bands perform 3-4 concerts each year. The pep band provides entertainment at all the home football games and many boys and girls basketball games. The marching band competes during the fall season and also performs in several community parades during the year.
Meeting Dates:
Every school day in 1st hour.
Special Functions:
Pep band at school games, marching band at football games and festivals, jazz and concert band concerts
