Working out in the off season is very important part of becoming successful in any sport. Proper weight lifting is a very important aspect of that off season work. On this webpage you will find the weight lifting dates and workout routine that is used in the Roosevelt High School Track and Field Program (the example attached is just a template). It is important to note, that no Roosevelt High School athlete should begin this work out without meeting with Coach Brown first. This is because proper lifting technique, safety, weight amount and lifting cycles should be discussed with Coach Brown so that injuries are prevented.
