BY BRANDON DERRERA Rider Wrap-up Staff The Roosevelt Rough Riders are off to a 2-3 start (2-2 in the conference) after playing five games this season. If you couldn’t make it to any of their games, home or away, then here’s a recap of their season so far. Roosevelt started their season off with a close loss to Platte Valley 7-6.

Roughrider Baseball: Then and Now ~ The RHS baseball program began under the direction of Bud Jenniges when RHS was a 2A school. ~ Barry Belczyk then took over the program for two years in the mid 1980’s. ~ Mel Otero coached one year in the late 80’s before Coach Jenniges took over again.
