Riding into Post-Season

February is upon us and that means it is time for RHS to start thinking Post-Season.  The Rider Mat Men will have the weekend of February 4th off as they prepare for Regional Competition at Eagle High School on February 10th and 11th.  The Wrestling squad is currently ranked 5th amongst 4A schools in Colorado.  The Lady Riders are coming off a huge Victory at home over 5A Lege

Lady Riders Swimming to State

Kayla Rice and Kelsie Andrew from RHS recently teamed up with the Valley High School 400 Free Relay.  They will be competing in the State Swim Meet on February 10th and 11th at the VMAC in Thornton.  While Kayla and Kelsie are RHS students CHSAA allows them the opportunity to compete for Valley High School since RHS does not host a swimming team.  Thank you girls for

Drama Club To Present

The Only Christmas Pageant in Townwill be performed with three small children’s scenes from our drama camp. The performances are scheduled for Friday, December 2nd at 7:00 and Saturday, December 3rd at 6:00pm.  The cost will be $2.00 for students, adults and children.    COME OUT AND ENJOY THE SHOW!

Metro Regional Band Festival

The RHS concert band is set to perform at 10:30am Tuesday March 1st, at Grandview High School.  The Band is competing in the Colorado Bandmasters association Metro Regional Concert Band Festival.  Please see the attached document for more information.    Best of luck Riders!!!!!

Girls Basketball Reaches Elite 8

The Girls Basketball team continues to roll through the 4A bracket with success.  They will face Longmont High School this Friday night at the Colorado School of Mines for a 8:30pm tip off.  WIth a win over Longmont the girls would advance to the Final 4.  Please see the attached bracket. 

CJ York Wins State Title

Congratulations to CJ York on winning his first state title over the weekend.  CJ finished his senior year by pinning Montrose's Drew Schumann in 2 minutes 35 seconds. 

Last Home Duel

Last Home Duel   January 20th 2011 wont just be another duel at Roosevelt High School.  It marks the final home duel for Coach Pallotto and Hankins after 38years of coaching.   Please come show your support as we honor these great men and thank them for their service to our community.

The RHS boys basketball team lost  against the Erie Tigers at Erie on Tuesday, January 31 by the score of 82-71. Dylan Cunningham led the Riders with 28 points, followed by Michael Mitchell's 19. RHS plays at home against the Windsor Wizards on Friday, February 3.

Boys Basketball Earns Post-Season Spot

Boys Basketball has earned a spot in the state playoff bracket.  They will travel to Valor Christian on tuesday.  Game time is set for 7:00pm.  Doors will open to the public at 6:00pm.
