State Wrestling Tournament Update

The Roosevelt Rough Riders place 2nd at the 4A State Wrestling Tournament over the weekend.  The team climbed back into the race on saturday and missed 1st by a narrow 1.5 points.  Blake Nygren won individual honors with his Victory at 160lbs.  He was named 4A State Tournament Most Valauable Wrestler.

Riders Pinning Down Some Wins

BY COTY DEMERS Rider Wrap-Up Staff The wrestling team this year is off to a great start in their season, and we can always count on them to pull through with some wins. Some of the coaches of the Roosevelt wrestling team are Mr. Kratz, Mr. Pallotto, Mr. Hankins, and Brian Young.

LAFAYETTE — Roosevelt scored 163 points to finish second at the 32-team, multi-state Top of the Rockies wrestling tournament at Centaurus High School on Saturday.

RHS wins the 2010 Roosevelt Invitational

The Rough Rider Wrestling Teams started the year 2010 in victorious fashion.  The Riders held off Castle View and Loveland to win the Roosevelt Invitational.   Please see the attached results from the Roosevelt Inviational held on January 2nd. 2010
